Jogja Hidden Gems: Riverside & Sultanate Cycling Tour

A three-hour guided cycling route through the parts of Yogyakarta that most visitors never see, covering 11 km at an easy pace with a road captain leading the way. The ride follows the riverside settlement of Kalicode, goes through the lanes around the historic sultanate, stops for simple local food, visits a Chinese temple, spends time with residents in their neighbourhood with a challenge along the way, and passes through a traditional culinary market. Two sessions run daily, one at 07.00 and one at 14.30, and each lasts three hours. Bandana and helmet, road captain, games and challenges, local experience, local snacks and drinks, an eco-string bag, first aid and rain coats, and a contribution to the sustainability action fund are all included. Transport to the meeting point, documentation, lunch and tips are not included. Pottery making can be added for IDR 100.000. Children aged 7 to 11 ride at the child rate, and children aged 2 to 6 at the kids rate. Children under 2 join free and must be carried by the family.
