Itinerary

Day 1

Pickup Makassar airport. Overland to Tana Toraja (~310km, 8-9hr) via Pare-Pare lunch stop. Arrive Rantepao late afternoon. Check in. Dinner.

Day 2

Full-day cultural — Lemo (cliff cemetery, tau-tau wooden effigies) → Ke'te Kesu (oldest Toraja town: Tongkonan houses, rice barns, cliff graves, cave burials) → Tampangallo cave graves → Kambira baby tree graves. Optional: attend Rambu Solo' funeral (donation IDR 100K).

Day 3

Pasar Bolu livestock market (peak Tue/Sat) → Bori (600-year-old megalithic monoliths) → Pallawa (Tongkonan house complex). Afternoon free. Dinner Rantepao.

Day 4

Breakfast. Overland back to Makassar (~8-9hr), lunch Pare-Pare. Drop-off Makassar airport.
