Ujung Kulon 3D2N Open Trip from Jakarta: Pulau Peucang, Cidaon Savanna & Snorkeling

Three days and two nights in Ujung Kulon National Park, Indonesia's first national park and the last refuge of the Javan rhino. The trip begins with an evening pick-up in Jakarta and an overnight drive to Legon Guru Beach, then crosses by boat to Pulau Peucang: snorkeling at Ciapus and Suminoh, an afternoon on the water with kayak or paddle board documentation, a walk to the giant Kiara tree and sunset from the boat. The second day opens with a trek across the Cidaon savanna, where wild banteng, deer and peacocks graze within sight of the boat, followed by the crossing back to the mainland and the drive home to Jakarta. The group sleeps at the barak lodge on Pulau Peucang in shared rooms for 8 to 13 guests, with separate male and female rooms, four outdoor bathrooms and fans in every room. Guests who prefer privacy can upgrade to Villa Fauna, Villa Nikki Batik, Villa Nikki Angklung or the large Suharto room at their own cost. Five meals are served across the trip, from breakfast on the boat to the grilled corn after dinner, with drinking water refills, fried banana and watermelon included. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, paddle boards, diving and freedive sessions can be rented on site, and tips for the guide, crew, captain, cook and driver are given voluntarily. Pick-up points along the route: Cawang (20:00), Slipi (20:25), Kebun Jeruk (20:40), Rest Area Karteng (21:00), Kebun Nanas (21:15), Karawaci (21:25), Serang (22:20) and Pandeglang (01:00). Practical notes: bring a refillable water bottle, as the operator provides hot water refills to keep plastic out of the conservation area. Mobile signal on the island is limited to Telkomsel, and electricity runs from 5 PM to 6 AM. Departures on Idul Fitri and the Christmas and New Year period carry a Rp 100,000 per person surcharge.
