Pickup Surabaya/Malang 10:00-11:00. Drive to Bromo area (~3-4hr). Check-in hotel near Cemoro Lawang. Rest. Midnight: jeep to Penanjakan viewpoint for Bromo sunrise.
05:30 sunrise over Bromo caldera. Descend to sea of sand. Hike up Bromo crater. Return hotel, breakfast. Drive to Ijen area (~5hr). Check-in. Early sleep.
00:00 wake up. Drive to Paltuding basecamp. Trek ~2hr to Ijen crater. Blue fire (visible before 04:30). Sunrise over turquoise acid lake. Descend. Breakfast. Transfer to Banyuwangi or Bali ferry.
