Snorkeling in East Bali Hidden Gem Site
Why October is perfect for this trip
Peak tourist season. Best weather for beaches, temples, and rice terraces.
Dry Season, Apr–Oct
Snorkel a hidden gem of East Bali that few travellers ever reach. Enjoy a quiet stretch of healthy coral reef with clear water and abundant marine life. You will be guided by a local, a second-generation fisherman who grew up on these waters and traded his nets for tourism. He now works as a guardian of the reef, protecting the corals and running his trips with eco-friendly, sustainable practices so the site stays pristine for the generations that follow. After snorkelling the coral gardens, the trip continues to a rest area where you can rinse off, enjoy a local Balinese snack and take in the view over the tropical paradise around you. The whole experience takes around two to three hours, and the location is deliberately kept quiet — a place not many people know about.
