The A Journey Through Fabric package at the Textile Museum in Jakarta introduces students to Indonesia's rich textiles through a hands-on batik experience. After exploring the collection of *wastra* from across the country, they try applying the wax to cloth themselves. This hands-on activity makes history and culture feel close, rather than something only read in a textbook. The process can be adapted for elementary, junior high, senior high, and university levels.
