23:00-00:00 pickup. Drive to Paltuding basecamp (Ijen). Trek ~2hr to crater rim. Blue fire phenomenon (visible before 04:30). Sunrise over turquoise acid lake. Watch sulfur miners. Descend. Breakfast. Return hotel by 10:00.
