A surf beach on Banyuwangi's south coast named for the reddish tint of its sand and the small forested 'red island' that sits just offshore, reachable on foot at low tide. Consistent waves make it one of East Java's better-known beginner-to-intermediate surf spots, and the west-facing shore is a popular sunset point.
